Dr. Andrew Lerwill based at UB Northern Bahamas Campus, was recently invited to make two presentations at the Eastern Analytical Symposium (EAS) in New Jersey, where he was a Chair. These presentations are as follows:

Beltran, C., Lerwill, A., Pesme, C., and Druzik, J. (2016). Microfading at the Getty Conservation Institute: From Scientist to Conservator.

Lervill, A., Pesme, C., Beltran, C., and Druzik, J. (2016). A discussion of some uncertainties in microfading.

Further to his previous experience advising the world's major museums; this summer the curatorial team at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas have invited Dr. Lerwill to visit for several days as they are presently reorganizing the storage at the facility. The Director and Chief Curator have asked for staff training on the subject of the science of art preservation relevant to the environment found in Nassau.
