Engineering or Technology?

For an explanation of the difference between engineering and engineering technology, please see here and here.

Please note that if you want to be registered as a professional engineer in The Bahamas, you need to obtain at least a bachelor degree in engineering. Please see Professional Engineers Act 2004-The Bahamas.

In the Department of Technology, we offer an Associates of Science in Engineering degree, which covers the first two years of an engineering degree, taught by professors who all have PhDs in engineering.
